SORAYA SAVJI
I’m Soraya, a certified Pre and Post Natal, Pilates, Lagree & Spin instructor, living in Vancouver, BC. I’m so excited you’re here and can’t wait to connect with you.
I grew up playing a variety of sports and it all came to halt when I moved to Vancouver from Nairobi. My health and fitness journey began after my second year of University when I realized my love for all things fast food and lack of exercise wasn’t sustainable. I would love to say that I started meal prepping and working out in moderation, but the reality is, I did the opposite, trying every diet under the sun and working out excessively which wasn’t sustainable and didn’t work out as I’d hoped.
I fell in love with spin at UBC and over time have incorporated more strength-based training and Pilates into my routine, both of which have had a huge positive impact on my physical and mental strength.
Fast forward 10 years and I’ve started to find some balance and create a lifestyle that works for me. I started my blog as a way to share what I’ve learned and continue to learn about fitness, health and life over the years with a goal to inspire you to create a balanced lifestyle that works for you.
