A Quick Trip to Osoyoos

It’s crazy to think I’ve lived in Vancouver for over 10 years and this was my first trip to Osoyoos. We were lucky enough to spend the 4 days with my sister and her fiancé who’ve been there quite a bit so they could show us around and take us to some of their favourite places.

We started every morning with a walk to Junction 3 for coffee (highly recommend) followed by breakfast and then it was off to some wineries, time at the lake and dinner.

We tried to spend time indoors between about 11:00am – 4:00pm due to the heat (and I love the heat) so that was prime winery time. Those tasting pours add up really quickly so take breaks, hydrate and make sure you eat something. If available, you can’t go wrong with a food and wine pairing for your tasting.

  • Sage Pub – seems to be a local favourite and is a good choice for late night pub food
