2023 Intentions

I was never one for resolutions when I was younger, and still don’t create resolutions per se, but I’ve found having goals and intentions for the year helps me to focus on what’s truly important.

There’s a lot of pressure to create a new or better version of yourself on January 1st. Yesterday didn’t quite start as planned with a very late night on NYE, a lot of wine & sleeping through my alarm and missing my workout. I wasn’t feeling so great about it but remembered I spent the evening with people who I love and had one of the BEST nights filled with so much joy & laughter and there’s something to be said for moments like those.

I have more specific goals for the year but here are some big buckets that the goals align with:

1.     Prioritize my health – through diet, movement & making time for medical appointments

2.     Consistency in all aspects of my life

3.     Create space & stick to morning and evening practices because I know that’s what I need to feel my best

4.     Stay present

5.     Let go of perfection and just go for it – I started this blog and was so proud of it, but the desire for perfect and caring too much what people think stopped me from doing more

6.     Celebrate & find joy in moments because life is short

I spent some time thinking about this year & my husband and I talked about our goals and how we can support each other.

What are you looking forward to in 2023?

Happy New Year! xo
